Women have played an important role in the history of the United States. In the past decades women have fought to be on equal footing with men. As we complete this webquest, we have discovered a number of women who have achieved success in this century. With as much progress that has been made in the 20th century, do you think history looks different when the contributions of women are included?
I want to thank the following webquests for their ideas in putting together my webquest:
Women in History webquest (http://topcat.bridgew.edu/~kschrock/ED560/svendsen/Page1.htm);Glass Slippers Just Won't Do webquest (http://www.sitesbysheridan.com/webquest/process.html)
You Teach the Decades webquest(http://coe.west.asu.edu/student/hcarter/decadewebquest.htm#Task)
I would also like to thank Judy Griffin and Dennis Anderson for their help and expert advise.
