Home of the Trojans and Trojanns

Atlantic High School, a member of the Hawkeye 10 Conference in Southwest Iowa, is located seven miles south of I-80, approximately half-way between Council Bluffs and Des Moines, at the junction of US HWY 6 and US HWY 71. Atlantic High School currently has a partial day sharing agreement with Walnut High School, combining for a total enrollment of 618 students.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Atlantic Community School District, in collaboration with home and community, is to prepare all learners to be creative, innovative and productive citizens and workers in a changing society, by providing diversified opportunities to learn and apply relevant skills and knowledge in a positive, disciplined and challenging environment.
