Concert Choir Concert Choir is open to students grades 10-12 by audition only. Concert Choir is the prep curriculum choir at AHS and performs extensively at AHS, in the community and at state large group contest. Concert Choir is comprised of students that desire an intense involvement with singing and an introduction to vocal development. The class meets on "B" days during the school year during 4th period. Auditions are held each Spring. |

Sensations Sensations is open to members of Concert Choir and is an all female ensemble. If a junior or senior woman was not selected for Ambassadors wanted to participate within this ensemble, it is up to her discretion, though that decision leads to her participating in the Concert Choir (intermediate choir) because of scheduling. Sensations is the prep show choir at Atlantic High School and designed to prepare show choir students for upper level show choir experiences. Sensations is comprised of students who desire an intense involvement with dancing, singing, and acting. The class meets 2nd period on "A" days, with 1 evening rehearsal or day rehearsal on Saturday weekly. This class requires an annual fee of $35, which is used towards costuming, tour expenses, choreography and music arrangements. Additional costs occur with the purchase of ensemble t-shirts, undergarments, make-up and jewelry needed for our performances. Auditions are help each spring. |
