At Atlantic Middle School everything we do centers around providing the best educational program possible for our students in grades 6, 7, and 8. Many middle level concepts are in place at the Atlantic Middle School.

• Enrichment and homeroom periods/study time
• Accelerated reader program
• Team planning time
• Character Counts and the 6 Pillars of Character
• Life skills taught in homerooms
• School based interventionist
• Pride calendar and pride activities
• Student-led conferences
• Athletic programs at grades 7 and 8
• Schoolwide behavior management policy
• Keyboarding classes for grades 6 and 7 and Computer Applications class for grade 8.    Technology integration in all classes at AMS.
• Communication with home via monthly grade level newsletters and Tuesday take home folders

At AMS we strive to serve our students' needs. Young adolescent learners, ages 10-14, require special middle level programming. Students at AMS are indeed provided with a program that fits their needs.
