•The number of females decreased in the “less than proficient” achievement level for grade 4 over the last three years.
•Math proficiency increased in the “advanced” level for both males and females at grades 4 and 11.
•At grade 4 there is no significant difference between male and female.
•At grade 8 the percent of females decreased in the “advanced proficient” level and increased in the “less than proficient” level.
•At grade 11 the percent of females in the “less than proficient” level and “advanced proficient” level is increasing while decreasing at the “proficient” level.

Summary by Low Socioeconomic (SES) *students in the free or reduced lunch program.
•About 50% of the low socioeconomic students perform in the “less than proficient” levels at grades 4 and 8 while the other half are performing in the “proficient” ranges.
•Even though the number of SES students has increased at grade 11, the percent of students in the “less than proficient” level has decreased over the past three years.

Summary by Disability (IEP) **students who have individualized educational plans
•The majority of the students with Individualized Educational Plans (IEP) perform at the “less than proficient” level in math. These students receive support through various programs to improve academic performance.
• The percent of grade 11 IEP students in the “proficient “ level has increased as the percent of grade 4 IEP students has increased in the “less than proficient” level in math.

Summary by Race, Migrant, and ELL
•No migrant students are in attendance in the Atlantic Community School District.
•There are no ELL (English, the second language) students.
•The district is 97.5% caucasian with fewer than 10 students of different races at each grade level.
