Comparison of Reading Comprehension Achievement to AEA 13, Iowa, and the Nation

Over 70% of the students in Grades 4, 8, and 11 are proficient in reading comprehension.

In reading comprehension the percent of students in the "less than proficient" group continues to decrease.

In the past 5 years the percent of students in grades 4 and 11 performing in the "less than proficient" range has decreased significantly.

Generally, Atlantic students perform at or above the national and AEA 13 averages while scoring at or slightly below the Iowa averages.
