How do the PLAN science scores of Atlantic High School
sophomores compare to the10th grade students nationally?
¥ The PLAN test is given to all Atlantic High School sophomores
each year in October.
¥ The 121 sophomores in 2003-2004 had a mean score of 19.2 which
was above the national mean of 17.4.
¥ Over one-half of the 2003-2004 sophomores scored in upper
quartile nationally in science.
¥ Sophomore females in science had a mean score of 18.7 while the
males had a mean score of 19.5.
