In addition to tracking math, reading, and science in grades 4, 8, and 11, the Atlantic Community School District analyzes student achievement data (p. 48, p.57, and p. 66) using the ITBS/ITED in reading (2-9,11), math (2-9,11), and science (4-9,11). The district also uses grade equivalent data (p. 50, p.58, and p. 67) to determine the mean growth of students from year to year.

 

 

 

Washington Elementary School (K-3) used their Early Intervention Monies to fund 2.5 reading teachers.  This allowed for reduced class size during daily 90-minute reading/literacy block.
