| Students in the Atlantic Community Schools will show improvement in mathematics as evidenced by at least one of the following indicators: | ||
1. The percent of 4th grade full academic year students scoring above the 40th NPR on the Iowa Tests of Basic Skills in reading comprehension will increase from 78.4% proficient in accordance with the Iowa Accountability established trajectories in reading. |

2. The percent of 8th grade full academic year students scoring above the 40th NPR on the Iowa Tests of Basic Skills in reading comprehension will increase from 67.5% proficient in accordance with the Iowa Accountability established trajectories in reading. |

3. The percent of 11th grade full academic year students scoring above the 40th NPR on the Iowa Tests of Educational Development in reading will increase from 83.8% proficient in accordance with the Iowa Accountability established trajectory in reading. |
||
4. At least five grade levels 3-8 will make their expected mean RIT growth in reading from fall 2007 to spring 2008. |
||
5. 5 out of 7 classes (3-9) will make at least a year's growth (1.0 NGE) on the Iowa Tests of Basic Skills in reading comprehension from the fall 2006 to fall 2007. |

6. The percent of at-risk students at two grade levels (1st - 5th) on the DIBELS Oral Reading Fluency subtest will decrease from fall to spring. |

7. Percentage of students (grades 3-8) who achieve expected (typical) growth on NWEA/MAP reading assessment from fall to spring will increase in 5 out of the 6 grade levels from the 2006-2007 testing. |

8. More than 78% of 2007-2008 sophomores will score in the upper three quartiles nationally on the PLAN in reading. |
