| Students in the Atlantic Community Schools will show improvement in mathematics as evidenced by at least one of the following indicators: | ||
1. There will be an increase in the percentage of students in grades 8 and 11 who score above the 40th NPR in science, as measured by the Iowa Tests of Basic Skills / Iowa Tests of Educational Development. |

2. There will be a net increase demonstrated on national standard scores for grades 2-9, and 11 in science scores as measured by the Iowa Tests of Basic Skills / Iowa Tests of Educational Development. |

3. 6 out of 7 classes (3-9) will make at least a year's growth (1.0 NGE) on the Iowa Tests of Basic Skills in science from the fall 2007 to fall 2008. |

4. More than 74% of 2007-2008 sophomores will score in the upper three quartiles nationally on the PLAN in science. |
||
5. The average NPR of students in grades 2-9, and 11 will increase from 66.7 NPR as evidenced by the Iowa Tests of Basic Skills and the Iowa Tests of Educational Development. |
