Annual Achievement Goals for 2009-2010

READING GOAL

The percent of the sixth through eighth grade full academic year students scoring above the 40th NPR in reading comprehension on the Iowa Tests of Basic Skills will increase from 75.59% proficient in 2008-2009 (AYP-building level-# proficient + # proficient by growth) to 76.59% (67.7%) proficient in 2009-2010 in accordance with the Iowa Accountability established trajectories in reading.

MATH GOAL

The percent of eleventh grade FAY students scoring above the 40th NPR on the Quantitative Thinking portion of the Iowa Tests of Educational Development will increase from 80.37% proficient in 2008-2009 to 81.37 % (67.5%) proficient in 2009-2010.

SCIENCE GOAL

There will be an increase in the percentage of third through fifth grade FAY students scoring above the 40th NPR from 75.17% proficient in 2008-2009 in science as measured by the Iowa Tests of Basic Skills to 76.17% (76.5%) proficient in 2009-2010.
