Iowa Public Television's Educational Services - IPTV offers opportunities for teachers who are seeking strategies to link their curricula to the real world. Click on "Learn with IPTV" at the bottom of the home page.

School to Careers - This site will help you with "user friendly" materials available at "no charge" to the local school district. Some of the items that you will find are:

Work-based Learning Guide 2002 - This document offers general guidance for students, teacher-coordinators, school administrators, employers, businesses, communities, and others involved in work-based learning experiences. It is a cooperative effort of the Iowa Association of Business and Industry Foundation, Iowa Department of Economic Development, Iowa Department of Education, Iowa Workforce Development, and the South Central Iowa Federation of Labor AFL-CIO;, and the Iowa School-to-Work Office.

WhysNews - This site is written by Eric Chester who is know as an authority on our current generation of young people. Included on this site are newsletters for Business: Generation Why as Employees and Education: Generation Why as Students.

Lesson Plans - This site provides ideas and lesson plans K-12 in a large variety of subject areas. Other helpful information is also included.
